Get to know the heritage of your BMW
Car engineers have tradeoffs to make. BMW's are different (and I think better) than any other cars I've owned. They are the ultimate driving machine, no doubt. If a design choice would cause the car to handle better at the expense of a little convenience or reliability, they made the choice (it seems). This documentary gave me some insight into the development of the brand and the trials by fire of racing heritage and made me a "prouder" Bimmer driver. On the down side, it's pretty much old racing footage with narration. If you're into BMW's it's entertaining and worth your time IMHO.
